Is my payment information secure - do you store any payment information?
Neither PetWatchClub.com staff nor our servers capture or see any credit card data. All payment activity is handled through PayPal on their servers. We only receive basic information from PayPal when your subscription is successfully intiated or cancelled. We also abide by a privacy policy that ensures all information you do provide to us is handled appropriately.

Can I get a refund?
We cannot issue refunds. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time (click on the "manage billing link" after you have logged in. When you cancel your subscription, we receive a notice from PayPal. At that point, we continue showing any posts you have active in your profile for the remainder of the month. If you want to immediately remove all posts from the view of visitors before the month is over, click on the "my services" link and either delete any posts you have in your profile, or edit them and put them in "draft" mode.

I don't have a PayPal account - is there any other way I can pay for my service posts?
Unfortunately, at the moment, we only accept PayPal. We are working on getting a fully integrated credit card processing capability soon.

How will visitors find my posts?
Most visitors to our site use the zip code search tool to find pet places, products and members in their area. When a visitor enters a zip code, our site searches the database for postings from that area. In general, if your company has a zip code within 100 miles of the visitor's zip code, your service will appear in their results screens.

If you have a product or service that is available nationwide (for example, you sell products by mail), you may specify your posts to show up in the results of all searches. However, please know that we monitor the use of "national" posts and will check to make sure that any visitor - regardless of where they are - can take advantage of the advertisement. The following are examples of posts that we will not allow classification as "national":

  • Pet Day Care and Boarding
  • Dog Walking
  • Grooming and Pet Spas
  • Pet Health Services

What kind of pictures can I upload?
Pictures can be a powerful tool in marketing with PetWatchClub.com. Prior to uploading any picture, please make sure it is formatted for the web - make sure it is in a compressed format like .gif or .jpg. Images larger than 1 megabyte should be reduced in size and pixel density to ensure your postings open quickly and smoothly. Vulgar, sexual, or otherwise offensive images will be removed and may result in termination of your account with us.

Are there any posts that you do not permit?
We only allow posts that have direct use or application for pets and owners of pets. We do not allow posts for products or services from the following categories - regardless of their use or application:

  • Alcohol and tobacco
  • References to sex, sensuality, or use of profane or vulgar language.
  • Gambling activities.
  • Dishonest or misleading statements.
  • Appeals using overly emotional or graphic visual depictions.
  • Ad Hominem arguments (accusative attacks on individuals or groups)

I see forms for several services, but the product/service I have is not one of them - what can I do?
The quickest thing you can do is use the form "other" to create your post. The "other" form will allow you to upload a picture and create a hyperlink to other pages if you like. In addition, there is more space available for free text comments to fill in the details about your offering.

Feel free to tell us if there is a particular service you would like us to create a form for. We will gladly consider it.

What does it mean when my post is in "draft" or "active" status?
Draft posts are not viewable by site visitors. Only those classified as "active" will show up in search result pages - that is, if your subscription is active.

How do people submit comments about my service?
Only registered members may submit comments about your service. When they do, we record their member identity. We provide you with some basic information about the member, but for privacy purposes, we will not release thier email or other contact information. Visitors who are not registered may not submit comments. If a member submits a comment, you may post a reply to them that will appear with their comment on the service homepages.

What if someone provides a comment I don't like?
Please contact us if you receive a comment you don't like. We will work with you and the member to ensure the issue is resolved. In some cases, and at our discretion, we will remove the disputed comment from your profile.

If I cancel my subscription, can I resume it at a later point?
Yes. Simply log back on to your account and reactivate your subscription.
