Question: When I sign up to become a member of the
PetWatch Club, will everyone see all of my personal
information?
Answer: No - you decide at what point the other
members should see your personal information. You make
contact with members by using your club member number on a
personal chat board. There you also have the option of
letting people know as much as you want about your personal
information. REMEMBER, ONLY YOU DECIDE WHEN AND WHAT
PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU WANT OTHER MEMBERS TO SEE!
Question: After I have signed up, can I contact
more then one member in my area?
Answer: Yes, we would encourage you to do that. This
way you are more certain to find someone when you need a
place for your pet.
Question: How soon should I contact other pet owners?
Answer: We recommend that you do so as soon as
possible. You want to make sure that your pet gets along
with the other members’ pet, and that may take some time.
Also, you want to find out when the other member would have
time to take your pet and when you, in turn, would take care
of their pet.
Question: How often should I check the PetWatch Club
web page?
Answer: Check as often as possible, since new members
are joining the club all the time.
Question: Could I join the club, even so I do not
have a pet. My pet died not to long ago and I am not sure if
I am ready for a new pet. Now and than I think I would love
to take care of a pet again. I would do this without pay.
Answer: You can certainly become a member. Just let
the other members know, why you would like to take care of
their pet.
Question: Would it make sense to join the club, if I
do not have a pet, but would like to take care of a pet for
a fee.
Answer: Yes, you certainly are welcome to become a
member. It could well be that your services would be needed
in a pinch, but the principle purpose of the club is the
free pet watch exchange.
Question: Can I join even if I have more than one
pet?
Answer: Yes, we do not limit the number of pets or
the kind of pets you have. It is up to you and the other
members to see if you (or they) would be willing to care for
more than one pet.
